A native of Ames, Iowa, Dr. Thieberg graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts from Mount Holyoke College, South Hadley, MA in 1992 and was awarded membership into Phi Beta Kappa. Her major was European Studies with a minor in Spanish Literature. She completed a four-year Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas. During that time, she was granted membership into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society, and was valedictorian of her graduating class. Continuing two years of post-doctoral education at Baylor, Dr. Thieberg earned a Certificate of Orthodontics in 2001. In addition, she received her Masters of Science degree, studying the effects of estrogen on bone growth. Dr. Thieberg has practiced orthodontics in Dallas since 2001 and in Wylie since 2007. A board certified orthodontist, Dr. Thieberg completed the American Board of Orthodontics examination in 2012 and was awarded diplomate status with the ABO.
