Dr. Lewis, a native Texan, was born and raised in Canyon. He attended West Texas A & M University where he graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in 1992. Dr. Lewis completed a four-year Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas. At Baylor he was granted membership into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society, and graduated second in a class of 86. His post-doctoral education includes two years of orthodontic specialty training at Baylor, where he earned a specialist’s Certificate of Orthodontics in 2000. His Masters of Science degree focused on the study of the function of the lower jaw, and the results were published in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. Dr. Lewis has maintained a private practice specializing in orthodontics in Richardson since 2000 and Wylie since 2007. A board certified orthodontst, Dr. Lewis completed the American Board of Orthodontics examination in 2012 and was awarded diplomate status with the ABO.
A native of Ames, Iowa, Dr. Thieberg graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts from Mount Holyoke College, South Hadley, MA in 1992 and was awarded membership into Phi Beta Kappa. Her major was European Studies with a minor in Spanish Literature. She completed a four-year Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas. During that time, she was granted membership into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society, and was valedictorian of her graduating class. Continuing two years of post-doctoral education at Baylor, Dr. Thieberg earned a Certificate of Orthodontics in 2001. In addition, she received her Masters of Science degree, studying the effects of estrogen on bone growth. Dr. Thieberg has practiced orthodontics in Dallas since 2001 and in Wylie since 2007. A board certified orthodontist, Dr. Thieberg completed the American Board of Orthodontics examination in 2012 and was awarded diplomate status with the ABO.
As our scheduling coordinator, Hope brings a welcoming smile to our reception area in Richardson. With over ten years of dental experience, Hope is sure to help our patients feel comfortable in the office. A native of Dallas, Hope enjoys fitness, real estate and spending time with her family. Having recently been an orthodontic patient herself, Hope is ready to help our patients and their families as they begin to transform their smiles.
With over six years experience in the dental field, Juanita is happy to be assisting Drs. Lewis and Thieberg. She’s friendly, outgoing and always smiling! Juanita is proud to be a very busy soccer mom of two boys. She tries to attend as many sporting events as possible and loves the Dallas Cowboys. Juanita cherishes her time with her family, loves competition and would love to talk to you about sports!
Lisa has been working as an orthodontic assistant since 1997 and works mainly in our Wylie office. Lisa was born in Dallas and grew up in Duncanville. When not at work, she loves to bake and spend time with her two amazing kids and little pug, Tinkerbell. Lisa is also involved with her church and leadership team in the Women’s Ministry.
Nancy loves to learn the latest advancements in dental care and orthodontics and is happy to bring her eighteen years experience to our assisting team! Originally from Brownsville, Nancy makes her home in Richardson and loves our great team environment and state-of-the-art facility. Quick to laugh and smile, Nancy strives to provide each of her patients with the best possible care and help them on their path to creating a terrific smile!
Sandra started her relationship with Wylie Orthodontic Specialists in February, 2009 as the mother of one of our new patients. After many visits with her daughter, we recruited her to join our team in April, 2010. She currently serves as our Wylie scheduling coordinator and loves greeting our patients with a smile over the phone and in person. Sandra grew up in the Dallas area and moved to Nevada in 2004. She has been married to her husband, Wayne, since 1990 and has two children. She loves gardening and spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter.
Stella is the treatment coordinator in our Richardson office. She loves helping new patients and families learn about orthodontics and the benefits of a beautiful smile. She recently moved from southwest Kansas to Dallas, having worked for the same orthodontist for fifteen years. She received her Associates Degree from GCCC in Garden City Kansas. Stella loves to read, loves dogs, and spending time with her two grown children. Even though she is from Kansas, she’s always been an avid Cowboys fan at heart.
